ROI calculator
Hours × your loaded rate. Minus a price that covers the same thing. That is the model.
There is no third number from “customers like you.” Every product publishes hours at a volume, and that volume sits next to the figure. One job is measured against the price of that job; a shelf of jobs is measured against the plan that carries them. Change the inputs and the sentence updates.

Defaults reconstruct the Billtray card in full: 80 operations × 8 minutes plus the 4 hours of exception chase the card itself counts, at $70 loaded. Replace them with yours.

80 ops × 8 min ÷ 60 = 10.7 h, plus 4 h of exception and rework. 15 people named; not a multiplier.
Billtray · time saved per month on the card.
The smaller of your load and the catalog figure. You cannot recover hours you do not spend, and we will not invent extra hours above the card.
14.7 h × $70 = $1,026.67 a month.
The $3,900 licence is covered after 3.8 months of that named work.
Card price for Billtray: $3,900, one-time. Runs still spend credits; this comparison does not meter inference.

This calculator will not output a payback period that assumes a customer result. Open the catalog to read the failure mode and the volume sentence on the product page.
02 — Method
The formula, written out.
If a controller cannot rebuild the figure from the words on the page, the figure does not belong here.
01
Your load
Operations per month × minutes each ÷ 60, plus the exception and rework hours you name. Both halves count, because the hours on the card count both. Headcount is labelled and not multiplied.
02
Catalog hours
The selected product’s published time saved per month, with the volume sentence from the card. Catalog math, not a before/after.
03
Versus the plan
One job is set against the price on its own card. A shelf of jobs is set against the monthly list price of the lowest plan that already carries all of them — never one product against a whole plan.
