03 — Proof

What is measured, and what is not.

The hours and the setup time are catalog math at a stated volume. Production telemetry is not published yet, and nothing here pretends otherwise.

Catalog math

4 weekly warehouse readouts × 2h of export, screenshot, and write-up (8h), plus one 3h monthly pack, minus ~1h remaining edit

Run telemetry

04 — What it does / 4 outputs

Turns scheduled warehouse and BI pulls into a plain-language report with the figures attached.

  • Plain-language period report
  • cited figures
  • source links

05 — One run

What one run takes in, and what it puts back.

No sandbox on this page yet. This is the real input and output contract from the record, not a demo recording.

In

  • Metric list with source and grain
  • schedule
  • comparison windows
  • Slack channel or Sheet
  • sanity bounds

Out

  • Plain-language period report
  • cited figures
  • source links
  • hold notice when a pull is empty or insane

06 — How it works / 40 min setup

Three steps, then it is furniture.

  1. 01

    Connect Snowflake and BigQuery

Scoped authorisation, revocable from your IdP or the dashboard.

  2. 02

    Point it at the work

Metric list with source and grain, schedule.

  3. 03

    It runs

Plain-language period report — on a trigger or a schedule, 40 minutes after you start.

07 — Features / 7 listed

What is actually in the box.

  • Named metric list with the source query or Look — not a generic KPI pack
  • Period-over-period sentences (this week vs last week, vs last year when the grain exists)
  • Citation on every number: warehouse object, Look, or GA property
  • Slack post or Google Sheet; Readout is not a second BI tool
  • Holds the run if a source is empty or a figure moves beyond a sanity bound you set
  • Same outline each period so readers are not hunting a new format
  • Does not add commentary you did not configure; no “exciting momentum” filler

10 — The money

Your hours, your hourly cost.

Two numbers: the hours this product removes at the catalog's stated volume, and the cost of an hour, which only you know.

10

You type this one. We do not know what an hour costs you.

Recovered per month

$500

10 h × $50 an hour, before the credits a run spends.

Where the hours come from: 4 weekly warehouse readouts × 2h of export, screenshot, and write-up (8h), plus one 3h monthly pack, minus ~1h remaining edit.

11 — Pricing

Buy it outright, or get it with a plan.

One-time

$3,900

  • Perpetual single-workspace license to this product’s logic, UI and connectors. Runs still spend credits.
  • Returns $1,560 as non-expiring credits at your tier’s rate.
  • Twelve months of updates and connector maintenance included.

Per run

80 credits

$1.60 a run at the Starter rate of $0.0200 per credit, less on every tier above it.

Credit class: standard

Every run carries a published hard ceiling. A run that hits it stops and re-quotes instead of billing on.

12 — Security

Runs on nox.markets, acts in your tools.

A scoped OAuth token pulls only the objects the inputs above require, writes the outputs back to your system of record, and keeps the run payload for your workspace retention window. Revoke the token in your IdP or in the dashboard; connector secrets are deleted within 24 hours of a disconnect.

Run payloads are kept for your workspace retention window — 30 days by default on Starter and Growth, 90 on Scale and Enterprise, with zero retention available on Enterprise.

13 — Customers

Someone like you, running this.

14 — Detail

The long version, including what it will not do.

The dashboard exists. The bottleneck is the write-up. Someone opens Looker or Metabase, exports a CSV, pastes screenshots into Slack or a Google Doc, and spends two hours turning twelve tiles into six sentences leadership will actually read. That person is usually the only one who knows which tile is the real number (net vs gross, booked vs billed, trailing 7 vs trailing 28). When they are out, the report is a gallery of images and a question mark.

Readout is an agent on a schedule you set. It pulls the metrics you named from Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, Looker, Metabase, or Google Analytics, writes the period-over-period sentences, and posts to Slack or a Sheet. Each figure is cited back to the query or Look so a skeptic can click through. It reuses last period’s structure; it does not invent a new narrative arc every Monday.

It will not replace Looker. It will not notice a broken tracking pixel unless you give it a volume floor (that is Driftnote). It will not write a board deck. If people already read the dashboard and the Slack thread is empty, do not buy this. It pays when the dashboard is green and the channel is still “can someone interpret this before the 10am.”

15 — Questions / 5 answered

Before you buy.

What does it need from me before it can run?

Metric list with source and grain; schedule; comparison windows; Slack channel or Sheet; sanity bounds. Nothing else is collected for a run.

How long does setup take?

40 minutes. Runs on nox.markets, acts in your tools. You authorise Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, Looker, Metabase, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, Slack once.

What does it cost to own?

$3,900 once — band 3, Operator. Runs still spend credits. It is also included in the Starter plan at $290/mo — buying it outright is the way to keep it after a plan ends.

What does it hand back?

Plain-language period report; cited figures; source links; hold notice when a pull is empty or insane.

Where does the hours-saved number come from?

4 weekly warehouse readouts × 2h of export, screenshot, and write-up (8h), plus one 3h monthly pack, minus ~1h remaining edit
