03 — Proof

What is measured, and what is not.

The hours and the setup time are catalog math at a stated volume. Production telemetry is not published yet, and nothing here pretends otherwise.

Catalog math

3 bank accounts × 4 weekly recs × 30 min, plus 2 cards × 1h, plus ~2h of clearing-account rec

Run telemetry

04 — What it does / 5 outputs

Matches bank and card files to the GL and leaves only true breaks for a human.

  • Matched pairs
  • unmatched bank
  • unmatched book

05 — Architecture

It runs inside your perimeter.

Your data does not enter nox.markets production. We receive license telemetry only, and the product runs on your own model keys.

In

  • Bank/card OFX or CSV
  • GL account transactions
  • prior-period ending rec
  • match rules

Out

  • Matched pairs
  • unmatched bank
  • unmatched book
  • suggested fee/interest journals
  • signed-off rec packet

06 — How it works / 90 min setup

Three steps, then it is furniture.

  1. 01

    Connect QuickBooks Online and Xero

Scoped authorisation, revocable from your IdP or the dashboard.

  2. 02

    Point it at the work

Bank/card OFX or CSV, GL account transactions.

  3. 03

    It runs

Matched pairs — on a trigger or a schedule, 90 minutes after you start.

07 — Features / 7 listed

What is actually in the box.

  • Ingests OFX, QBO, and CSV from banks and cards; Plaid is optional, not required
  • Match rules you save per account (fee patterns, Stripe payouts, payroll batches)
  • Unmatched bank vs unmatched book as two lists — not one blended “difference”
  • Suggested journal for interest, merchant fees, and NSF when the pattern is known
  • Rec packet to Excel/Google Drive with ending bank, ending book, and remaining breaks
  • Clearing-account rec (Undeposited Funds, Stripe clearing) as a first-class account type
  • Difference cannot be forced to zero; you post or you document

10 — The money

Your hours, your hourly cost.

Two numbers: the hours this product removes at the catalog's stated volume, and the cost of an hour, which only you know.

10

You type this one. We do not know what an hour costs you.

Recovered per month

$500

10 h × $50 an hour, before the credits a run spends.

Where the hours come from: 3 bank accounts × 4 weekly recs × 30 min, plus 2 cards × 1h, plus ~2h of clearing-account rec.

11 — Pricing

Licensed by the year, run on your keys.

Annual license

$18,000/yr

  • Runs on your infrastructure and your model keys.
  • Consumes no credits.

Per run

Nothing. A self-hosted product bills no credits, because the inference is yours.

12 — Packs / 1 pack

What else is in the pack.

  • Part of the Closeout pack

The month-end binder, assembled, before you start actually closing

    • Billtray

The unbilled vendor is the classic close accrual, and Billtray is the product that gets vendor bills out of the AP mailbox and coded into the GL before cutoff instead of after it.

    • Outlay

Expense cutoff fails on the receipts still in someone's phone; Outlay codes them into a report and posts the reimbursable spend, so the accrual stub has something to reconcile against.

    • Driftnote

The flux draft — "why did travel move 40%" — is Driftnote's output from the data-intelligence shelf: it names which cut moved and flags when the movement is a tracking bug rather than a real variance.

    • Sheetfold

Workpapers arrive as a dozen scattered workbooks, and Sheetfold consolidates them into one mapped table with a control total and a per-file error list — the footing check a binder needs.

13 — Security

You run it, we license it.

Your data does not enter nox.markets production. We receive license telemetry only, and the product runs on your own model keys.

Run payloads are kept for your workspace retention window — 30 days by default on Starter and Growth, 90 on Scale and Enterprise, with zero retention available on Enterprise.

14 — Customers

Someone like you, running this.

15 — Detail

The long version, including what it will not do.

Bank rec is matching, then explaining the rest. QuickBooks bank feeds already auto-match the easy ones. Tiedown is for the rest: OFX/CSV from a bank that you will not put on Plaid, credit-card files, and the clearing accounts that never quite zero. It runs in your environment (`self-hosted`) because the file is a full bank statement. It matches by amount+date, then amount+vendor rules you save, and writes a rec packet: matched, unmatched bank, unmatched book, and suggested journals for obvious items (merchant fees, interest).

It will not hide an unreconciled difference. If $183.20 is unmatched, that is the output. A person still posts the fee and the NSF. Buy this when rec is a monthly heroics session on three accounts and two cards. If you are already green in QuickBooks on every account by day five, spend the $399 elsewhere. One-time license; you run it each period on new files. It is an $18,000 annual license per product; it runs on your own keys and consumes no credits.
