01 — Honest read / 5 of 10 rows they win

What they do well sits at the same rank as where you strand.

These three columns are the same size on purpose. A comparison that shrinks the competitor's strengths is marketing, and this page should not ship that way.

01 — they

What they do well

ChatGPT is the best blank page most of this ICP has ever had. Team and Enterprise are not toys: a 40-person company can give everyone a frontier model in an afternoon, with a shared workspace, admin controls, and (on Enterprise) the procurement story the security questionnaire is asking for. For one-off work — “summarize this messy board deck,” “explain why this Excel file is wrong,” “draft three versions of a founder email” — nothing we sell is close.

Custom GPTs, file analysis, and the chat UI are how knowledge work actually happens now. OpenAI also ships faster than a catalog of named jobs. If the job is thinking in a box, they are the correct product. Pretending otherwise on a comparison page is how you lose the reader in paragraph one.

02 — choose them

When to choose them

Choose ChatGPT, and keep paying for it, when the work is open-ended, low-repeat, and done by a human who can see the answer. A founder drafting a one-time investor update. An analyst exploring a CSV. A support lead pasting a nasty thread and asking “what is this person actually angry about.”

Choose Enterprise over Team when IT needs SSO, a retention story, and a vendor they can name on a customer's MSA — confirm the current data-processing terms; do not paraphrase them here. Choose them instead of us when you do not yet have a named, repeating job that writes to a system of record. If the only pain is “people type slowly,” a seat is the whole fix. Buying Billtray because someone likes ChatGPT is a category error.

03 — strand

Where you strand

A seat does not run at 2am. It does not open a draft bill in QuickBooks. It does not log a collections email on the invoice. The good prompt lives in one person's history until they resign. GPT Actions and “browse my Drive” demos look like integration and then die in the last 30%: OAuth scopes, duplicate detection, the bill-to address accounting actually uses, the approval matrix, the audit log Ruth will be asked for.

You now have 40 people who are 10% faster at the work they already did and the same AP clerk in the shared inbox. The stranded object is the process, not the model.

ChatGPT Team / Enterprise versus nox.markets, ten dimensions.

ChatGPT Team / Enterprise wins 5 of 10. Rows stay in spec order. Winning cells are not restyled smaller, quieter, or moved to the bottom.

03 — Hours and price

Hours are leftover tax, not a benchmark we timed on their product.

6 people × 15 min/day re-keying chat output into HubSpot, QuickBooks, or a shared inbox × 21 working days. Drafting time is not in this number; ChatGPT already took it.

04 — Migration / 5 steps

Complement first. Migration is surgical.

  1. Keep Team or Enterprise for the blank page. Do not cancel seats to “pay for nox.markets.” The budgets are different layers.
  2. List the repeating jobs people currently paste out of ChatGPT into QuickBooks, HubSpot, Gmail, or a spreadsheet. Those jobs are catalog candidates. Ad-hoc pastes stay in ChatGPT.
  3. For each repeating job, buy the SKU if it exists (e.g. vendor bills → billtray, past-due reminders → duesday). If it does not exist, do not fake it with a Custom GPT and call it done.
  4. Turn the “good prompt” into configuration on our side only when the output has a system of record. A tone-of-voice paragraph for founder email can stay a Custom GPT forever.
  5. After 30 days, the test is whether anyone still re-types model output into the GL. If they do, the SKU is the wrong one or it is not live. If they don't, you kept ChatGPT and killed the re-key, which is the whole page.

05 — FAQ / 3 questions

Three questions a skeptic actually asks.

  • 01We already pay for ChatGPT Team. Isn't this the same thing?open

No. ChatGPT is a seat and a blank page. We sell a named job that already knows your QuickBooks and already has a human-approval default on finance writes. Keep the seats. If week one of a SKU does not show the hours on its card, cancel the SKU, not ChatGPT.

  • 02Can we just put GPT Actions on QuickBooks and skip you?open

You can. The API call is the easy 20%. You will still own duplicate checks, GL memory, the approval matrix, eval when the model changes, and the audit log. If that is a differentiator for your company, build it. If it is AP intake, Billtray is $179/mo and 45 minutes of setup, not a project.

  • 03What happens to our ChatGPT history if we buy a SKU?open

Nothing. We do not import chats. The SKU reads the systems in its integrations[] (mailbox, GL, CRM). Chat history stays in OpenAI's product. There is no migration of prompts required, and no benefit to pretending there is.

Three questions about ChatGPT Team / Enterprise. Answers are in the page, not behind a scripted accordion.

One alternative at a time. Do not add the hours.

Each page's leftover hours share some of the same AP/AR minutes. A buyer is comparing one alternative, not eight.
