01 — Honest read / 6 of 10 rows they win

What they do well sits at the same rank as where you strand.

These three columns are the same size on purpose. A comparison that shrinks the competitor's strengths is marketing, and this page should not ship that way.

01 — they

What they do well

Copilot's advantage is location. It sits in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and (where licensed) the rest of Microsoft 365, in the same tenant IT already governs. Meeting recap, mail draft, “explain this workbook,” and SharePoint-grounded chat are not demos — they are why the licence gets renewed.

Purview, DLP, and the existing identity stack are the reason a 340-person manufacturer will buy Copilot and will not buy a chat product that feels like a side channel. Copilot Studio is a real maker surface for people who live in Power Platform. If the company's system of record is Dynamics or the Microsoft estate, they have a right to try to keep the AI there. We would.

02 — choose them

When to choose them

Choose Copilot when the job is inside a document, a mailbox, a meeting, or a spreadsheet the company already stores in M365, and when IT's constraint is “no new vendor if we can help it.” Choose it instead of us for Excel analysis, proposal drafting in Word, and Teams recap — we do not sell those, and a comparison page that implies we do is lying.

Choose Copilot Studio instead of us when the flow is unique, Microsoft-only, and you have a maker who will own it. If the firm runs Business Central as the GL and has already wired Copilot there, do not pitch Billtray as a side-by-side AP desk without an honest gap analysis; that buyer may not be ours.

03 — strand

Where you strand

Copilot is licensed per person and thinks in documents. The AP mailbox full of vendor PDFs, the QuickBooks company file, HubSpot, Stripe, Gusto, Ramp — those are not Word. Copilot Studio can be aimed at them; you are then an agent-builder with a Microsoft logo.

The licence that “everyone already has” does not code a bill, propose a GL account from twelve months of that vendor, or write a reminder onto an invoice. Ruth still closes in the GL. Marisol's carrier invoices still sit in Outlook. You have paid for an assistant in the tenant and the process outside the tenant is unchanged.

02 — Matrix / 10 rows

Microsoft Copilot versus nox.markets, ten dimensions.

Microsoft Copilot wins 6 of 10. Rows stay in spec order. Winning cells are not restyled smaller, quieter, or moved to the bottom.

03 — Hours and price

Hours are leftover tax, not a benchmark we timed on their product.

Work that does not live in Microsoft 365: 80 vendor bills × 8 min coding/routing (~11h) + 40 past-due invoices × 12 min chase (~8h) + ~4h of SaaS-seat chasing. Copilot already took the Outlook/Excel slice; do not count that.

Pricing not verified — often an add-on or a bundle inside a Microsoft agreement. If they already paid for it, our “cheaper” story is false.

Our anchor

Same SKU/plan anchors as the ChatGPT page. self-hosted exists for products that declare it (Tiedown); it is not a Microsoft-tenant equivalent.

04 — Migration / 5 steps

Complement first. Migration is surgical.

  1. Do not rip out Copilot to “standardize on nox.markets.” You will lose recap and Excel, and IT will never forgive the page.
  2. Draw the tenant boundary on a whiteboard: M365 on one side, QuickBooks/Xero, HubSpot, Stripe, Gmail, Ramp on the other. Only the second list is in scope.
  3. If a Copilot Studio agent already drafts in Outlook and a human copies it into QBO, that copy step is the SKU. Replace the copy step, leave the draft-in-Outlook habit if people like it.
  4. Security review: we will lose to “it's already in the tenant” unless the Trust page is in the thread before the product page. Send /security and /trust first for Ruth.
  5. If they are a Microsoft-only shop including the GL, this page should tell them to stay. Winning that deal with finance SKUs built around QBO/Xero is how you get churn and a case study you cannot show.

05 — FAQ / 3 questions

Three questions a skeptic actually asks.

  • 01We have Copilot on every E3/E5 seat. Why would we add another AI vendor?open

Because Copilot is the tenant assistant and we are not trying to be. The question is whether vendor bills, AR chase, or SaaS-seat audit run without a person in Word. If they do, you do not need us. If they do not, the Copilot licence is not the missing piece.

  • 02Isn't Copilot Studio the same as your agents?open

Studio is a workshop inside Microsoft. You specify the job, wire the tools, and own drift. We sell the job already specified, integrated, and evaluated. If you have a Power Platform owner and a unique Dynamics flow, Studio is the right workshop. If you do not, you are about to start a project and call it a licence.

  • 03Can you run inside our Azure tenant?open

hosted and connected run on us, with scoped OAuth into your systems. self-hosted is a per-product licence for SKUs that declare it, not a general Copilot replacement in Azure. Private VPC is an enterprise motion. Do not imply “we deploy into your M365 tenant” on this page.

Three questions about Microsoft Copilot. Answers are in the page, not behind a scripted accordion.

06 — Other comparisons / 7 pages

One alternative at a time. Do not add the hours.

Each page's leftover hours share some of the same AP/AR minutes. A buyer is comparing one alternative, not eight.
