03 — Proof

What is measured, and what is not.

The hours and the setup time are catalog math at a stated volume. Production telemetry is not published yet, and nothing here pretends otherwise.

Catalog math

100 in-transit exceptions × 8 min of carrier-site and inbox hunt (~13h) plus 45 missing PODs × 4 min (~3h)

Run telemetry

04 — What it does / 5 outputs

Watches shipment milestones, drafts customer updates, and chases missing proofs of delivery.

  • Exception list
  • draft customer updates
  • POD chase queue

05 — One run

What one run takes in, and what it puts back.

No sandbox on this page yet. This is the real input and output contract from the record, not a demo recording.

In

  • Shipment records
  • tracker events
  • customer update templates
  • POD file presence
  • invoice status
  • coordinator assignment

Out

  • Exception list
  • draft customer updates
  • POD chase queue
  • invoice-hold flags
  • coordinator send log

06 — How it works / 50 min setup

Three steps, then it is furniture.

  1. 01

    Connect project44 and FourKites

Scoped authorisation, revocable from your IdP or the dashboard.

  2. 02

    Point it at the work

    Shipment records, tracker events.

  3. 03

    It runs

Exception list — on a trigger or a schedule, 50 minutes after you start.

07 — Features / 7 listed

What is actually in the box.

  • Milestone watch from project44, FourKites, MacroPoint, Magaya, or CargoWise
  • Exception list using the tracker’s own event codes — Lanehold does not relabel a delay as a claim
  • Draft customer update from your template; send stays on a named coordinator
  • POD chase when delivery is marked complete and no image/file is in the shipment record
  • Invoice-hold flag for accounting: delivered, POD missing
  • Does not book a carrier, file a claim, or change a quoted rate
  • Quiet hours: digest on the cadence you set, not a Slack ping per GPS ping

10 — The money

Your hours, your hourly cost.

Two numbers: the hours this product removes at the catalog's stated volume, and the cost of an hour, which only you know.

16

You type this one. We do not know what an hour costs you.

Recovered per month

$800

16 h × $50 an hour, before the credits a run spends.

Where the hours come from: 100 in-transit exceptions × 8 min of carrier-site and inbox hunt (~13h) plus 45 missing PODs × 4 min (~3h).

11 — Pricing

Buy it outright, or get it with a plan.

One-time

$14,900

  • Perpetual single-workspace license to this product’s logic, UI and connectors. Runs still spend credits.
  • Returns $5,960 as non-expiring credits at your tier’s rate.
  • Twelve months of updates and connector maintenance included.

Per run

40 credits

$0.80 a run at the Starter rate of $0.0200 per credit, less on every tier above it.

Credit class: standard

Every run carries a published hard ceiling. A run that hits it stops and re-quotes instead of billing on.

12 — Security

Runs on nox.markets, acts in your tools.

A scoped OAuth token pulls only the objects the inputs above require, writes the outputs back to your system of record, and keeps the run payload for your workspace retention window. Revoke the token in your IdP or in the dashboard; connector secrets are deleted within 24 hours of a disconnect.

Run payloads are kept for your workspace retention window — 30 days by default on Starter and Growth, 90 on Scale and Enterprise, with zero retention available on Enterprise.

13 — Customers

Someone like you, running this.

14 — Detail

The long version, including what it will not do.

A 3PL or forwarder’s expensive day is not quoting. It is the 100 shipments that did not hit the next milestone, the customer email “any update,” and the POD the carrier swore they uploaded. Ops lives in project44, a carrier portal, and a shared inbox. Lanehold is a pack: a milestone watch against the tracker you already pay for, an exception list (missed pickup, dwell, customs hold as the tracker labeled it), a draft customer update from your template, and a POD chase when the invoice cannot go out without the image.

It does not tender freight, does not file a cargo claim, and does not promise an ETA. Tracker statuses are copied; a dispatcher still calls the carrier when the tracker is wrong. If FourKites exception management plus a staffed control tower already sends the customer email, skip it. Buy it when “where is my freight” is still answered by searching two inboxes and a portal.

15 — Questions / 5 answered

Before you buy.

What does it need from me before it can run?

Shipment records; tracker events; customer update templates; POD file presence; invoice status; coordinator assignment. Nothing else is collected for a run.

How long does setup take?

50 minutes. Runs on nox.markets, acts in your tools. You authorise project44, FourKites, MacroPoint, Magaya, CargoWise, FreightPOP, Gmail, Microsoft 365, Slack, QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets once.

What does it cost to own?

$14,900 once — band 5, Pack. Runs still spend credits. It is also included in the Growth plan at $990/mo — buying it outright is the way to keep it after a plan ends.

What does it hand back?

Exception list; draft customer updates; POD chase queue; invoice-hold flags; coordinator send log.

Where does the hours-saved number come from?

100 in-transit exceptions × 8 min of carrier-site and inbox hunt (~13h) plus 45 missing PODs × 4 min (~3h)
