Getting started
Create the workspace, confirm your email, answer four setup questions and send a first setup request. For the person who will own the workspace.
This guide is for the person who will own the workspace. You create the account, confirm the email when the server can send mail, answer four setup questions, and send a first setup request.
Before you start
nox.markets is in early access: products are specified but they do not run on your systems yet. Setup is done with a person by email; What works today lists what this build does.
Invited by a colleague? Use the invite link and read Joining a workspace. Signing up at Create account creates a separate workspace.
1. Create an account
Open Create account. The fields are Your name, Company, Work email, and Password. Passwords need at least 12 characters. Personal inbox domains are blocked.
If the address is on the personal-inbox list, you see Use a work email. Personal inboxes (Gmail, Yahoo, and the rest of that list) are blocked on signup. If the password is too easy to guess, you see That password is too easy to guess. Use a longer phrase, or let a password manager generate one.
After you submit, one of two things happens.
If email is set up on the server, the screen shows Check your inbox and We are sending an email to that address with the next step.
If email is not set up, it shows Email is not set up yet and Email is not set up on this server yet, so we could not send you an email. If you just created an account, you can sign in now with the password you chose. For anything else, write to {support address}. Sign in with the password you chose.
The screen answers the same way whether or not the address already has an account. If it does and email is set up, the email says so and links to sign-in and to password reset.
There is no separate step to create an organization. The Company field becomes the workspace, and you are its owner. Creating the workspace starts the trial now, only for you. Invited members do not start their own trial. In early access this is an early-access workspace: 14 days, a 25,000-credit allowance, no card, and nothing is charged. It covers every paid catalog product; the Paid products tile on Create account shows how many.
If you came from Find your fit or chose a plan on pricing, the signup page says so and keeps that with the workspace. Nothing is charged.
2. Confirm your email
If email is set up on the server, the message subject is Verify this email for {workspace}. The link lasts 24 hours and works once. The Verify email button confirms the address, signs you in on that device, and opens workspace setup.
When email is not set up on the server, skip this step: nothing is locked, and you can sign in with the password you chose.
See Verify your email.
3. Sign in
Sign in with email and password. Use Forgot your password? if you need a reset link.
Google or Microsoft sign-in and single sign-on are Not yet available in this build.
A sign-in lasts 30 days.
4. Set up the workspace
Workspace setup runs for Owner and Admin after their first sign-in. Focus products and Systems each have Skip this step. Skip setup for now keeps what you already saved: The answers you already saved stay on the workspace.
- Workspace: name, who the team is for, how many people, and what eats the most time.
- Focus products: pick up to 3, ranked with the same fixed rules as Find your fit. Picking buys nothing, switches nothing on, and runs nothing.
- Systems: tick up to 12. Nothing is connected.
- Approver: invite someone. You can skip this step.
Afterwards you see Your workspace is set up. Overview then shows a checklist. Depending on your role and whether email is set up on the server, it can include Confirm your email, Pick your focus products, Name the systems you use, Invite your approver, and Request setup for a focus product.
5. Request setup for a product
My products lists the products the trial includes.
Open one and press Request setup. The page says {product} does not run on nox.markets yet. Sending a request shows Setup requested for {product}. The request is saved to this workspace, and a person at nox.markets will reply by email to {email}. The request is saved, and a person at nox.markets replies by email. Owner, Admin and Member can send one; Billing cannot. Sending one needs full access and, when email is set up, a confirmed address.
On Integrations, Request connection records the need and connects nothing. Every system shows as not connected. The confirmation is Connection requested. Nothing is connected yet: this build has no connection store. The request is on record for this workspace.
6. Invite your approver
On Team, press Invite someone, then Send invite. When email is not set up, the control is Create invite link. Plans do not charge per seat. If the roster is only you, the empty state is Only you. Invite the person who actually approves the bills.
See Joining a workspace.
